My Favorite Pumpkin Patches Near Knoxville (Worth the Drive!)

One of my favorite things about fall in East Tennessee is spending a Saturday afternoon at a pumpkin patch. Whether you're looking for the perfect pumpkin, a challenging corn maze, adorable photo opportunities, or a fun day with the kids, there are so many great farms within an hour of Knoxville.

These are a few of my favorite pumpkin patches that I look forward to visiting every fall!

1. Oakes Farm Corn Maze – Corryton

If you're only visiting one pumpkin patch this fall, Oakes Farm should be at the top of your list.

This is much more than a pumpkin patch—it's a full day of family fun. You'll find one of the area's largest corn mazes, hayrides, giant slides, animal exhibits, jumping pillows, playgrounds, pumpkin picking, delicious fall treats, and countless photo opportunities. It's one of the most popular fall destinations near Knoxville for good reason.

2. Deep Well Farm – Lenoir City

Located just a short drive from Farragut, Deep Well Farm has been an East Tennessee fall tradition for years.

Visitors can enjoy pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, farm animals, playgrounds, and plenty of activities for younger children. If you're feeling brave, the farm is also known for its seasonal haunted attractions later in the fall.

3. Echo Valley Corn Maze – Jefferson City

Echo Valley is one of my favorite hidden gems.

One thing that makes it unique is that you can actually pick your pumpkin directly from the vine, which gives it a much more authentic farm experience than many pumpkin patches. Visitors also enjoy the large corn maze, giant slides, jumping pillow, farm activities, and beautiful mountain views. Local families frequently recommend it for its friendly atmosphere and real pumpkin patch experience.

4. Maple Lane Farms – Greenback

Maple Lane Farms has been an East Tennessee favorite for decades.

Why I Love Fall in East Tennessee

One of the reasons I love living in Knoxville is that we're surrounded by incredible places to enjoy every season.
