The holiday season in Farragut officially begins with one of the most beloved local traditions — The Countdown to Light the Park! On Sunday, November 24, 2025, from 5:30–7:00 PM, join neighbors, friends, and families at Founders Park (405 N. Campbell Station Road, Farragut, TN 37934) as the Town of Farragut flips the switch on more than 100,000 sparkling lights.
This free community event is filled with festive cheer, live entertainment, kids’ crafts, holiday photo ops, and a visit from Santa himself, who will count down and illuminate the park with one joyful “10…9…8…”! Whether you’re a longtime local or visiting Knoxville for the holidays, this magical evening is the perfect way to start your Christmas season in East Tennessee.

Once Santa flips the switch, the lights will stay on nightly from dusk to 10 PM, transforming Campbell Station Road into a glowing holiday wonderland. The stretch from the I-40 commuter lot to the Campbell Station Inn Plaza at Kingston Pike shines bright with lights, decorations, and festive displays that make every evening stroll feel special.
Bring your loved ones to walk through Founders Park, mail a letter to Santa, and enjoy daily giveaways from Farragut-area businesses. The park restrooms are open nightly until 9 PM (closed Christmas Day), making it a comfortable and family-friendly experience for everyone.
