A Holiday Light Extravaganza: Gray Eagle Lane in West Knoxville
One of my absolute favorite spots to enjoy Christmas lights in Knoxville is the Gray Eagle Springs subdivision in West Knoxville. If you're looking for a festive and magical holiday experience, this neighborhood should be at the top of your list!
Almost every single home in the subdivision goes all out for the season, creating a dazzling display that stretches throughout Gray Eagle Lane. Located just off Bob Gray Road, this area has become a holiday destination for locals and visitors alike. With about 40 homes participating, it truly feels like stepping into a winter wonderland.
The standout? The home at 1008 Gray Eagle Lane. It’s the crown jewel of the neighborhood, often featuring an over-the-top, breathtaking display that leaves everyone in awe.
Tips for Visiting:
- Be prepared for a little wait in line as this popular attraction tends to draw a crowd.
- Visitors are asked to stay in their vehicles and avoid parking along the road to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
- Make the experience even more meaningful by bringing along a canned food donation for the Second Harvest Food Bank – a wonderful way to share the holiday spirit with those in need.
Whether you're planning a festive night out with family or want to impress out-of-town guests, a drive through Gray Eagle Lane is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit. Trust me, it’s worth the trip!
